Do you have a passion for machinery and working with your hands? If so, our auto mechanic training could be right for you. At AAI, you'll have the opportunity to learn hands-on from our experienced instructors.
Not only can you learn front-of-shop skills in customer service, you can also learn to inspect, diagnose and repair 4-, 6-, and 8-cylinder foreign and domestic vehicles. Major systems are covered, including engine performance, steering and suspension, brakes and tires, electrical, and air conditioning. As an auto technician graduate, you will be ready for your new and exciting career.
If you like working with your hands; with heat, flames, and sparks; and want to know that the work you do is important, combination welding might be the right career choice for you.
Our combination welding program offers you the chance to learn from experienced welding instructors in hands-on, simulated work environments. As a student, you will learn to perform shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding and flux core arc welding on a variety of metals and surfaces. These skills, along with the technical knowledge you gain in this program, give you the foundation for a rewarding career as a professional welder.
Do you like working on big and powerful engines? With our diesel mechanic training you will learn from our experienced instructors who can teach you the hands-on skills you need to prepare you for your new career.
As a student enrolled in our Diesel - Heavy Truck program, you will learn to inspect, diagnose, service and repair diesel-powered medium and heavy-duty vehicles like semi-trucks and buses. All major systems are covered, including engine performance, transmissions, steering and suspension, brakes and tires, electrical and air conditioning.
Are you a problem solver that likes to work with your hands? If so, HVAC/BR might be the right career for you. In this career field, you will have the opportunity to install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
As a student at AAI, you will get hands-on training with instructors that have real-world experience in the industry and gain the knowledge, certification and skills that employers want.
As part of this program, you can also earn your EPA certification which allows you to work with refrigerants in both residential and commercial applications.
